If you listen to History of William Hyde by the Mormon Pioneer History Youtube Channel, in the audio video, William Hyde ends his personal history by sharing his Patriarchal Blessing that mentions him being a “mighty man” and taking part in the gathering the Kingdom of Israel; and it goes on to say of Willaim Hyde: “... thou shalt be blessed in thy house with innumerous family. They shall increase like Jacob and become a mighty people. Thou shalt have an inheritance in the land of Joseph with thy brethren the children of Ephraim …” According to his autobiography, in 1840 he was ordained a member of the Quorum of the Seventies. According to the LDS Church website, he had five wives. You can tell from this that a core doctrine of early Mormonism was the gathering of Israel and that elite European men like William Hyde and his relative apostle Orson Hyde, believed they were European Ephraimites and it was their seed (sperm) from their body as polygamists that there would grow a great People: the European Ephraimites, which literally became the largely European People of Utah just as polygamist Abraham produced the Israelites (see Book of Abraham 2:11 and see D&C 132: 29 and 63).
